Interactive Media Analyst
Marketing Midwest is seeking a highly talented, Interactive Analyst to join our growing team of some of the best and brightest media professionals in the business. We’re not like those “Big Box” advertising agencies downtown that will tie you to just one client week in and week out. Our award winning ad agency specializes in the planning, buying and placement of media. We don’t have a creative and production department, but we work with a lot of different agencies that do. We are well known in the industry for our expertise in providing innovative solutions across the full media spectrum – Internet, TV, Radio, Billboards, and much more.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for you if…
You have 1-3 years of advertising agency experience or have worked on the client side of the business
You love numbers and statistics, are intensely analytical and think that optimizing digital campaigns is the way to spend an enjoyable afternoon
You have experience in the buying, planning, negotiating and placement of digital media; or have traditional media experience and are ready to make the move to digital
You have a demonstrated understanding of SEM and interactive media
You have experience with third party ad servers such as DART/DFA or Atlas
You have the people skills to make a direct and immediate impact with our clients
You thrive in a faster-than-fast paced work environment and have excellent computer skills
You are a team player; enjoy flexibility in your work life and a casual office environment
What Are The Key Responsibilities?
Preparing well thought out interactive and SEM (Search Engine Marketing) media plans
Buying display internet, SEM/PPC (Pay Per Click) internet, mobile and other new media
Ordering, monitoring, and managing SEM campaigns to include daily analysis, optimization and reporting
Building strong relationships with vendors and work collaboratively with internal team
Monitoring buys in progress; preparing professional client reporting summaries and post analysis reports
Navigating DFA (DoubleClick for Advertisers) at the expert level to become a company resource
Gathering and analyzing research of a qualitative, quantitative, competitive, and market nature
Assisting with the development and delivery of new business pitches and media RFP’s
